Buyer Outreach complete. HUD Seminar targeted to new homebuyers using FHA loan to purchase a HUD home with $100 down payment. We started with an introduction of ourselves, Sage Asset Managers and HUD so the potential buyers could easily understand the rest of the seminar. From there we went explaining where to find the HUD properties, the Hudhomestore website, how to search properties, property information, addendum, and all related with the bidding process. Then we moved to next step which was all about the HUD electronic sign contract where buyers, agent, closing agent and seller will receive email confirmation to sign electronic contract if their bid is awarded. Also we talked about offers, back offers, counter, bid cancellations and all related to bids. We emphasized that HUD sells “AS-IS”, Equal Housing Opportunity, Owner Occupant benefits, 3% seller’s concessions, pre-qualification lender letter, proof of funds for closing costs and or bank statement for cash buyers. Our presentation was beneficial for buyers because the Capital Mortgage crew helped them to understand the pre-Qualification steps to follow before going out to see HUD properties. A good feedback was received from both sides and we looking forward to give more seminars like this. A total of 6 new potential buyers attended.
